NCPP was formed in Newaygo County in 2003, by people concerned with the build-up to the US government's preemptive military action in Iraq. Dedicated to seeking peaceful nonviolent resolutions of conflicts within individuals, communities, and between nations, NCPP meets monthly to study, dialogue, and learn how they can best share a vision for our world that is committed to the common good and the creation of the "beloved community" that MLK spoke of.
NCPP seeks an Earth restored through global nuclear disarmament and an end to all nuclear testing.
NCPP seeks a world free of war and from the threat of war.
NCPP seeks a society with equality and justice for all through fair, equal and sustainable sharing of Earth's gifts.
Meetings are usually held the 3rd Monday of each month at the Fremont Area District Library Community Room from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Check calendar for exact days and times.
