Mission: MidEast:JustPeace, a Greater Traverse City Area peace group in Northern Michigan, is an educational-activist group opposed to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land and the War on Iraq. MidEast:JustPeace firmly opposes the U.S. government's political, military and financial support of these policies. MidEast:JustPeace seeks to provide a voice for the Palestinian and Iraqi resistance and the anti-Occupation Americans who oppose the current U.S. /Israeli policies in the Middle East.
Since 2002 MidEast:JustPeace has held monthly forums and films on Palestine and Iraq and other peace and justice and human rights issues. We have also organized as well as co-sponsored demonstrations against the War on Iraq in the Traverse area. We have a film library to share.
