11th Hour for Peace
Formed originally in reaction to the occupation of Iraq, 11th Hour for Peace now also urges an end to the occupation of Afghanistan. It advocates for a foreign policy based on the United States as a nation among nations. 11th Hour advocates for a Pentagon budget in line with a more limited military mission. The group holds monthly vigils, as well as periodic educational events, rallies, and contact with area Congresspersons. It seeks to network with other peace and justice organizations in Michigan.
