6th Anniversary for the Straits Area Concerned Citizens for Peace & Justice

The Straits Area Concerned Citizens for Peace and Justice celebrated it's June 2006 founding in a July 15th commemorative gathering at the home of Karen Martin, group founder. As part of the celebration, the group enacted a playful "ribbon cutting" ceremony for the completion of Karen Peace Garden---an intensive two year project, complete with a Gandhi walk.

The P E A C E letters are six feet tall, and the designer was able to create all the letters using only 3 pieces of 4 X 6 OSB. To get the plans and do a huge sign yourself, contact Laren Corie via http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SACCPJ/
